Purpose, material, and presence.
We shaped each server around the movement from bowl to plate, balancing the handle length, shallow bowl and grip. The pair was kept deliberately spare, allowing the matching ash grain and hand-shaped edges to carry the character.

Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly with a lightly damp cloth, then dry the surface. Avoid abrasives, standing water and prolonged direct heat. Refresh the oil finish when the timber begins to look dry; seek professional care for deeper marks or repairs.
