Purpose, material, and presence.
We organized the design around the rhythm of selecting, storing and returning spices. Ordered compartments and a sliding lid establish calm utility, while the ash body was kept simple and tactile so the object can live openly on the counter.

Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly with a lightly damp cloth, then dry the surface. Avoid abrasives, standing water and prolonged direct heat. Refresh the oil finish when the timber begins to look dry; seek professional care for deeper marks or repairs.
