Purpose, material, and presence.
We started with two opposing currents and resolved them as tall ash laminations rising from a quiet plinth. Their turn away from one another was calibrated to make the space between them feel as expressive as the timber itself.

Care / Maintenance
With a little attention, the surface will continue to deepen gracefully over time.
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly with a lightly damp cloth, then dry the surface. Avoid abrasives, standing water and prolonged direct heat. Refresh the oil finish when the timber begins to look dry; seek professional care for deeper marks or repairs.
