Purpose, material, and presence.
We began with a low circular gathering point and developed the table around a quiet central focus. Faceted planes and a flared underside were introduced to catch shadow, giving the oak form presence while keeping the room feeling open.

With a little attention, the surface will continue to deepen gracefully over time.
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly with a lightly damp cloth, then dry the surface. Avoid abrasives, standing water and prolonged direct heat. Refresh the oil finish when the timber begins to look dry; seek professional care for deeper marks or repairs.
