Made to create an open sculptural threshold that expresses protection, growth and latent energy.
01 — Story
Purpose, material, and presence.
We studied the protective logic of a seed pod and abstracted it into two repeated oak arcs around an open centre. Bent lamination allowed the curves to hold tension while preserving an inviting, threshold-like openness.

Care / Maintenance
With a little attention, the surface will continue to deepen gracefully over time.
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly with a lightly damp cloth, then dry the surface. Avoid abrasives, standing water and prolonged direct heat. Refresh the oil finish when the timber begins to look dry; seek professional care for deeper marks or repairs.
